In our weekly classes you can learn proven techniques for calming the mind, becoming more positive and focused, and reducing stress.
Each class begins withsimple guided meditation (such as breathing meditation), followed by a practical talk on a topic such as how to make our mind peaceful, how to let go of anger, or how to develop a good heart towards others. In particular, the class will explain a particular method for practically solving our daily problems and improving our relationships with others. Then, the class will conclude with a second meditation on that topic and time for questions and discussion.
Our meditation classes are open to everyone, regardless of your background and beliefs. They are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike and, although presented as part of a series, each class is self-contained – so you can drop in any time. Everybody welcome!

Meditation Class FAQ

Q) What is meditation?
The purpose of meditationis to cultivate positive states of mind, conducive to peace and well-being, and overcome negative habits of mind. Happiness is a state of mind, therefore the real source of happiness lies in the mind, not in external conditions. When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and we experience true happiness.
Meditation is a techniqueused by millions of people to develop a calm and peaceful mind. It reduces stress, anxiety, and other negative states of mind and promotes physical and mental well-being. The meditations we guide are non-sectarian, non-judgemental, and universal. They are simple and accepted methods to help people tackle the stress and anxiety associated with the challenges of modern daily life.

Each time I visit this place I feel very welcomed and inspired. Lots of what is said is so useable for daily life - for example how we can use patience to no longer get stressed out in traffic jams , or how we can live in the moment to let go of past stress and worries and simply enjoy .
